We are pleased to announce that since launching the lottery a year ago we are well on track to raise over £4,000 for Brighton Table Tennis Club (BTTC). Given the fantastic work that BTTC do, including most recently running a food hub at their premises in Kemp Town (in partnership with the Real Junk Food project), we will be continuing to support them for a further 12 months.
However, we were keen to extend the benefits of ongoing support to another charity, and so we are pleased to also be supporting Sussex Homeless Support, another pro-active local charity who offer support to over 500 people a week. They regularly supply food, clothing, advocacy and household items as our city’s homeless move into emergency and temporary accommodation.
So, with effect from July 2021, 25% of lottery funds raised will be donated to Brighton Table Tennis Club, 25% to Sussex Homeless Support and the remaining 50% will be used as prize money.
You can volunteer with SHS at their outreach project at the clock tower in central Brighton at 12:45 on Sundays, where they give out warm clothes and toiletries, as well as food, tea and coffee, to anyone in need of a warm drink or a nourishing meal. You can also support them at their stall at Lagoonfest 2021 in Hove Lagoon, on Saturday 4th September.
More information about our two chosen charities can be found in the links below, their Facebook pages and their own websites :

Thank you for your support and good luck.
